When the life raft is fully loaded with personnel and equipment, it can withstand the lateral impact on the side of the ship at an impact speed of not less than 3.5m/s and can withstand the ability to fall into the water from a height of not less than 3.5m/s. The arrangement should not allow premature release during lowering and shall release the raft when waterborne.
