Description
A type throw-over board inflatable life rafts are in accordance with 1996 Amendment to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974, MSC. 81(70), MSC. 218(82), MSC. 226(82)and ISO 15738-2002. This product has been approved by CCS, ZY, EC(GL), ABS, LR, and KR. It can be used in the ships engaged on international voyages.

How to use a life raft
1. Initiate Raft Release:
- Begin by engaging the hook opening on the hydrostatic release mechanism.
- Push out the small ring to release the chain hook, or rotate the manual release device.
- This action will set the life raft in motion, causing it to slide toward the sea.
2. Adjust Raft Height:
- When the distance from the water surface is less than 18 meters or during manual launch into the water, additional steps are required.
- Pull out the first cable, and open the valve on the inflatable cylinder.
- This process ensures the life raft remains above the sea level.
3. Handle Flipped Raft:
- In the event the life raft flips over upon deployment:
- Safety measures are paramount- occupants should don life jackets.
- Crawl to the bottom of the raft for stability.
- While positioned near the cylinder, use both hands to pull and secure the bottom of the cylinder.
- Maintain a crouched posture to counteract motor function loss.
