Fiber optic sensors used for tiny object detection, including both metal and non-metallic items, plastic objects, semi-transparent objects......, it just like a photoelectric switch, featured as high precise and small volume, especially suitable for any application in very limited mounting space. but its sensing range is short compared to photoelectric switch.
FFT-15MLD Array type Through Beam fiber unit work with Digital fiber amplifier FF-403, which is a quite easy and smart control with 8 unit digital display. it is for area detection, 5*400mm . dimentions check below:
