The forklift wheel hub is the part that connects the frame and the forklift axle. The forklift axle body is divided into a drive axle and a steering axle, which are what we often call the front axle and the rear axle. It should be noted that the structure and connection methods of the front and rear wheel hubs connected to the front and rear axles are different.
Driving hub: The front wheel hub, also known as the driving hub, has one end rigidly connected to the half-shaft flange with bolts, and the half-shaft drives the front wheel to rotate through the hub and rim. At the same time, the other end of the front wheel hub is bolted to the rim and brake drum to realize the braking effect of the brake on the front wheel.
Steering hub: The rear wheel hub, that is, the steering hub is installed on the steering knuckle through bearings, and its flange is connected to the rim. There is a machined surface in the hub to install the bearing, and there is a gap to store lubricating oil.
