It absorbs kinetic energy from the moving liquid and converts the kinetic energy into rotational kinetic energy. Like the pump wheel, the turbine is also equipped with many blades.
3. Guide wheel of forklift hydraulic torque converter
The forklift torque converter guide wheel is located between the pump wheel and the turbine and is the reaction element of the hydraulic torque converter. It is mounted on the guide wheel bushing (connected to the transmission housing) via a one-way clutch. It is used to control the backflow of liquid from the center of the turbine back to the middle of the pump wheel, that is, to change the direction of the liquid flow that leaves the turbine and returns to the pump wheel.
