High quality marine Smit Towing Bracket
Towing bracket is a deck equipment and one part of emergency towing system and single point mooring. Towing and mooring bracket is welded to the deck and is rated to withstand the breaking load of the chain being used. The large sliding pin receives the towing chain and fix it quickly and securely into place. OCIMF type bracket can be supplied in accordance with classification societies including LR's, ABS, BV, DNV,CCS etc. Welding slot is available on request.
The entire marine shark jaw device includes the shark jaw installed on the deck, towing pins, hydraulic devices and electronic control systems. Shark jaw and towing pins have different functions. The main function of shark jaw is to clamp the anchor chain or wire rope. Shark jaw only used when preparing to tow and end the towing work. The shark jaw will be stored in the deck during the towing process. The function of the towing pin is to limit the swing of the anchor chain or the steel wire rope and ensure the safety of the towing process.
1 Smit Bracket is used for Emergency Towing System, welded on the deck to enable quickly and safely towing activities.
2 Working theory is used the sliding pin which can lock the mooring chain into the right place. It can withstand the High Breaking Load of Towing Chain
3 This bracket can be used solely for a chain connection on the ship.
