Metal honeycomb substrate is manufactured of the high temperature resistance steel. The shell materials: Stainless steel SUS444, SUS441, SUS430 and austenitic stainless steel SUS304, SUS316. With better resistance thermal shock, better binding force with catalyst coating, advanced welding technology and long useful life on automobile or motorcycle. Our metallic substrate is with the advantages of fast burning, small volume, high mechanical strength, prominent heat-resistance, etc.
Metal honeycomb substrate should be pretreated in order to generate a transition layer which is required to solve the mismatched heat expansion between metallic substrate itself and the active layer. On the transition layer, it is coated with rare earth catalyst, while in active layer is coated with noble metal like Pt, Pd, Rh.
Applications:
For light duty petrol vehicls exhaust purification, through the precious metals and earth catalyst, the exhaust HC. CO. And NOx and other harmful components into harmful N2. CO2. And H2O in order to meet emission standard: EuroII, EuroIII, EuroIV, etc.
