Adjusting Forklift Mirrors
Proper adjustment of forklift mirrors ensures optimal visibility and safety. The adjustment procedures vary for each mirror:
Left Side Mirror:
1. Vertical Adjustment: Set the horizon line approximately at the center of the mirror.
2. Horizontal Adjustment: Adjust so that the vehicle occupies about 1/4 of the mirror's field of view.
Right Side Mirror:
1. Vertical Adjustment: Increase the visible ground area to about 2/3 of the mirror's field of view, due to the driver's position on the left side, which makes it harder to gauge the right side.
